WILLIE BELL WELCH

Willie B. Welch, 80, of Monroe, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Shreveport, LA 
after a brief illness. She was born to Beatrice Burks Bell and Willie Lee Bell 
and was later married to John D. Welch, who preceded her in death. Willie B. is 
survived by her only child, Joan Welch.

A visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 
2 to 6 p.m. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11 a.m. 
at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church.
