MARY SUE WELLS

Funeral services for Mary Sue Wells, 82, of West Monroe, will be held at 11:00 
am Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Griffin Funeral Home, Cypress St., West Monroe, 
with Rev. Richard Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Greer Cemetery, 
Rayville, La.

Mrs. Wells, a retired Guide plant worker died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at The 
Terrace after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Mary loved to fish and cook. She loved listening to her sons play music and 
sing, as well as spending time with her family.

Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge N. Wells, Sr., 
daughter Wilma Ann Tutt, sisters Lucille Thomas and Pauline Allen.

Survivors include her sons, Talmadge Wells, Jr., Richard Wells and wife Lila, 
and Charles Wells: grandchildren Laura Wells, Chrystal Chumley, and Shelley 
Johns: daughter-in-law Lisa Wells: brothers Willie Britt and Bobby Moore, 
sister Verna Young: 4 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Terrace, and Jennia and Leslie 
for your love and care.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Allen, Preston Allen, Reggie Allen, Wayne Allen, 
Mark Chumley and Allen Gary.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Griffin 
Funeral Home.
