MATTIE WHEATLY

A graveside service for Mattie Wheatly will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 
2012 at Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Lincoln Parish, LA. Officiating 
will be Rev. Gene Compton. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. 
Friday, January 13, 2012 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.

Mrs. Wheatly was born May 29, 1925 in Hilly, LA to Hosea and Daisy Pilgreen 
Dye and died January 11, 2012 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Salem 
United Methodist Church and a retired grocery clerk.

Her parents, two brothers, one sister and three husbands preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wheatly is survived by her daughters, Peggy Wheatly of Streetsborow, OH, 
Brenda Watson of Chatham. LA, Rita Smith of Bossier City, LA; brother, George 
W. Dye of Rockford, IL; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three 
great great grandchildren.
