DEAN KEITH WHEELINGTON

Jonesboro, LA

Funeral services for Dean Keith Wheelington, a state employee, will be held on 
Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in 
Jonesboro, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Ricky Smith. Interment will follow in 
the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Quitman, LA.

Mr. Wheelington was born on July 18, 1941, and passed away on January 20, 
2009. He was 67.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Stewart Wheelington of Calhoun, LA; two 
daughters,Lesley Wheelington of Calhoun, LA and Deana Thornhill and husband 
Lee of Calhoun, LA; one son, Dean Keith Wheelington, II of Hobbes, NM; two 
brothers, Douglas Wheelington of Monroe, LA and Kenneth Wheelington and wife 
Kim of Oak Grove, LA; seven grand children, Sean Morgan, Adam Morgan and wife 
Kim, Brian Morgan and wife Melanie, Devan Wheelington, Dylan Emerson, Erica 
Brimberry and Culley Brimberry and three great-grand children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Audrey Wheelington, one 
daughter, Debbie Scancella and one sister, Janice Harper.

Mr. Wheelington loved God, his family and his friends. He was a loving 
husband, father, grand father and steadfast friend to all who knew him.

Pallbearers will include Paul Laird, L. C. Ingles, Richard Wheelington, Brad 
Porter, Nick Porter and Phillip Fitzgerald.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Shows, Tim Bryant, Michael Stewart, Joey 
Browning, Troy Bryant, L. E. Bryant and Kevin Stewart.
