Paul Lipe officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:30 until time of services at Delhi Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mot is preceded in death by her parents, George Lamar Bryan and Mamie Pearl Wood Bryan Higginbotham; her husband Sidney Davis White Jr. and two brothers, William Lamar "Billy" Bryan and John Carl "Penny" Bryan. Mot worked for Sun Oil Company in Delhi where she met and married her husband and dear love, Sid White. After his death she resumed her career with Sun Oil, Human Resources in Longview, Texas and retired to Delhi. Mot had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and, after becoming a bed invalid for many years, remained a devoted prayer warrior. Her devotion to Jesus Christ was followed by her deep love of family and dear friends. All that knew Mot considered her friendship a precious treasure for with it she brought sunshine and fun. Among other things she loved were bridge, LSU Tiger Football and Baseball and Kim Mulkey's Baylor Lady Bear Basketball. Special thanks to devoted caregivers Chassidy McKinney, Tomi Thornton and Faye Martin. Mrs. White is survived by two children, Linda Carr of Delhi, LA and Sidney Davis "Trip" White III of Austin, TX; sister and best friend, Mary "Dee Dee" Thomas of Delhi, LA; a brother George Bennett Bryan of St. Joseph, LA; a grandson Steven Lamar Carr and wife Tiffany of Monroe, LA and two great grandchildren (the apples of her eye) Eli Graham Carr and Hudson Bennett Carr, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jim Thomas, Mike Thomas, Bob Thomas, James Thomas, John Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Drew Thomas, Benny Bryan and Scott Bryan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Bryan, Paul Bradham, Basil Greaves, Dr. Kenneth McDonald and Dr. Paul Grandon.
