Monsignor Edmond Moore will be officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe. Riley was born October 10, 1980, in Bastrop, LA and died February 20, 2009 at his residence following a brief illness. Riley was a graduate of St. Fredrick Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He also was a member of Jesus Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Riley was currently a Superintendent, with Lincoln Builders of Ruston, Inc. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors. He had a strong bond with his Labrador retriever, Jessie. Survivors include his parents, Donna and James Riley White, of Monroe, LA; his sister, Jenna Marie White and his brother, Ross Edwards White of Baton Rouge, LA. Riley is also survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Rogers White, Sr. of Perryville, LA; his uncle, Bryan Rogers White, Jr. and wife, Donna, also of Perryville, LA, aunt, Becky Dubea and husband, Larry of Marksville, LA. his cousins, Zachary White of Searcy, AR, Jennifer Polk and husband, Brian, of Van Alstyne, TX, Erin Nance of West Monroe, LA, Gregory Dubea and wife, Brandy, and Todd Dubea and wife, Ashley all of Marksville, LA. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Houston Riley White Foundation at Community Trust Bank. This foundation will go to support a passion of Riley's which was outdoor programs for youths.
