MARIE W. WHITEHEAD

Funeral services for Marie W. Whitehead will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 
25, 2017 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Bro. Marvin Wink 
and Bro. Danny McIlveene will be officiating. Interment will follow at New 
Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe.

Mrs. Whitehead was born March 20, 1945 in Lake Providence, LA and passed away 
Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in West Monroe. She retired from the Ouachita Parish 
School Board as a cafeteria tech. Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Wesley Chapel. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Whitehead, Sr.; parents, 
Luther and Evelyn Williams; sister, Mary Primm; mother and father-in-law, Lee 
and Evon Whitehead; brother, Robert Williams; brothers-in-law, James Whitehead 
and Wayne Biggs.

Mrs. Whitehead is survived by her children; Luther Williams, Jr.(Hoppy) and 
wife Shela, Mary Ellen Whitehead Livingston and husband Scott, Patricia Ann 
Whitehead, and Bubba Whitehead and wife Alicia; grandchildren, Brooke Whitehead 
and fiancé Aaron Brode, Cody Whitehead, Dallas Whitehead and fiancé Amber Dodd, 
Jordan Whitehead, Logan Veach and Emalee Veach; sisters, Laverne Bierstedt, 
Cora Lee Kelley and Alice Patrick and husband Cecil; a host of nieces, nephews, 
and special family and friends and extended Wal-Mart family.

Pallbearers will be Willie Coburn, Kenny Bo Trim, Billy Thomas, Austyn 
Bartmess, Josh Desoto and Kyle Christy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dallas Whitehead, Cody Whitehead, Jordan 
Whitehead, Aaron Brode, Steven Ward, Bruce Joiner, Ted Justice and Brad Riggin.

Special thanks to Glenwood ICU and CVICU Staff, along with Dr. Scott Henry, and 
Dr. Assad Mouhaffel.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
