HELEN WHITLOCK

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen "Ruby" Whitlock of West Monroe will be 
2:30pm Thursday, October 2, 2014 at The Well of Living Water in West Monroe 
with the Rev. Roger Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. 
Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm at the church.

Mrs. Whitlock was born on March 12, 1937 in Sikes, La and passed from this 
life on September 29, 2014 in Monroe at the age of 77.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Purvis Whitlock; her 
parents, Quillie & Etta Kelly May; one sister, Chlotile McMullen and one 
brother, Marvin Head, Sr.

Survivors include, two sons, Jerry Walker & wife Carol Ann and Bo Whitlock & 
wife Theresa all of West Monroe; one sister Versie Caples of West Monroe; 
three grandchildren, Jessica Whitlock, Jerry Walker, and Harlie Whitlock; 
and a host of special nieces, nephews and friends.
