GRADY E. WHITMAN

Funeral services for Grady E. Whitman, Sr., 72, of Monroe, Louisiana, will be 
held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2014, in the Chapel at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home in Monroe with Reverend John Kindrix and Reverend Dave Kindrix 
officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe 
under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Whitman died Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Whitman was retired from the Pipefitter's Union, and he was the owner and 
operator of Ouachita Plumbing. He was a past Master of Shreveport Masonic 
Lodge. He was also an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Whitman was preceded in death by his parents, Ilda Jearlene and Fred 
Whitman and his brother, James R. Whitman.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Bonnie Catherine Whitman; children, 
Grady Whitman, Jr. and wife, Monica; Marcus Whitman and wife Angela; Vickie 
Neal and husband David; step-sons, Barry White and Robert White and wife 
Vickie; brother, Troy Whitman and wife Dorothy; sisters, Carolyn Ferguson and 
Linda Akin and husband Lynn; Beverly Cook and husband Glen; nine grandchildren, 
Kyle Whitman, Taylor Whitman, Hannah Whitman, Jacob Whitman, Robert Whitman, 
Grady James Whitman, Lindsay Morris, Olivia White, and John Robert White; ten 
great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
