OTIS JANNINGS WHITTINGTON



Mr. Otis Jannings "Whit" Whittington

Funeral services for Mr. Otis Jannings "Whit" Whittington, 78, of Monroe will 
be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe. Rev. Charles Laurant and Donald Watson will officiate. 
Emtombment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Open Air Chapel 
Mausoleum under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Jannings "Whit" Whittington was born November 6, 1934 and passed away on June 
6, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth A. 
Whittington.

 He is survived by two children, Eric Whittington and Lisa, and Teresa 
Whittington; two grandchildren, Jeremy Clower, Melanie Shipley; and his little 
angel Sheila Eubanks.

Pallbearers will be Garrett McKee, Grant McKee, Buddy Frost, Jim Lee, Norris 
Price and Paul Watson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Townsend, Don Massey and William 
Washington.

A special thanks to Northeast Louisiana Kidney Specialist, Fresenius North 
Monroe Dialysis Center, Ginger Massey and Ellon Waters.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.
