Graveside services for Mrs. Junie E. Whittington, 72, of Monroe, LA will be 
held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2008 at McFarland Cemetery at Banks, AR 
with Rev. Dean Nelson officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Whittington passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 after a brief illness.

Survivors includes daughter, Sharon Pierce and husband David of North Little 
Rock, AR; sons, James Thomas and wife Glenda of Princeton, LA, Roger Thomas of 
West Monroe, LA, Kenneth Thomas and wife Debbie of Marion, LA and Glen 
Whittington of West Monroe, LA; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great 
grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Thomas, Steve Hollis, David Aday, Larry Bennett, 
Clint Hollis, and James Aday. Honorary pallbearers will be James Whittington 
and Clay Hollis.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, December 19, 2008 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
