WILLIAMS Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Mr. Jesse M. Williams, 69, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Laymond Tucker and Paul Daily officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA. Mr. Williams was born on January 22, 1940 and passed away on February 13, 2009 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA. He was a Building Contractor/ Horse and Cattle Rancher and was a member of Cowboy Church. Mr. Jesse was very supportive of 4-H, having an enormous love for watching children learn about animals. He was Past President of the Woodlawn Riding Club, member of the Lincoln Parish Riding Club and the RRA. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Rose Williams and by his brother, Floyd Wayne Williams. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Williams; son, Poncho Williams and wife Angel; step-son, John Rutledge Jr. and wife Stacy; grandchildren, Jessica Pitarro and husband Brian, Caroline Williams, Paige Smith, Mallory Rutledge, Trey Rutledge, John Mark Miletello and Grayson Rutledge; brothers, Bobby Williams and wife Catherine, Malcom Williams and wife Barbara, and Guy Williams and wife Marilyn; sisters, Betty Jones and husband Garland, Frances Seese and husband Bill and Martha Ann Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Poncho Williams, Brian Pitarro, Karl Bailey, Clint Cooper, Clark Cooper, Jamie Spillers, Pistol Carter, Jamie Hudnall and Mark Welcher. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeanette Cooper Wilbanks, Truman Lively, Willie Caldwell, Jimmy Hudnall, Harold Snowden, I.H. Tidwell, Wilbur Littleton, J.W. Morris, Harold Traylor, Foster Campbell, Bobby Greer, Dwight Cooper and Herman Lenard. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
