Rev. Mark Fenn and Rev. Lonnie Stewart will be officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe. Mrs. Wills was born July 20, 1935 in El Dorado, Arkansas and passed away May 6, 2012 in West Monroe. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe and also a member of the Friendship Sunday School class. Betty was co- owner of R.J. Wills Antiques. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelma and Floyd T. Van, Sr; sisters, Vera Cruse, Mary Lou Carter, Shirley Goodman (twin Sister); brothers, Floyd Van, Jr., Bernard Van, Bernie Van and Jack Van. She was devoted to her family and many others. She was loved and will be missed by all. Mrs. Wills is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert John Wills, Jr.; daughters Elizabeth Kay Beard and her husband, Danny, Martha Fay Foster and her husband, Mike and Robin Eileen Greer and her husband, Chris; granddaughters; Courtney Dean Boothe and her husband, Byron, Lindsey Kay Dean, Christin Greer Raley and her husband, Ben, Robin Nicole Greer and Whitney Greer Harper and her husband, Micah; grandsons, Michael Ryan Foster and Matthew Cole Foster and great-granddaughter, Amelia Kate Raley; sisters, Nell Holder and Barbara Ray; brother Wayne Van Sr.; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Pallbearers will be her grandson, Michael Foster and her nephews Rocky Ray, John Van, Danny Van, Troy Van and Jeff Van. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandson Matthew Foster and nephews, Wayne Van Jr., Bobby Van, Scott Cruse, Rod Goodman, Roger Van, Clifford Van, Jack Richards Van, Walter Holder, Jr. , Gary Perkins, Lee Smith, Don Wills, Jr., Robert Manhart and Mark Manhart. The family would like to give very special thanks to close friends and caregivers, Carolyn Walters, Bobbie Knighten, Dr. Don Hammett, Dr. Ron Hammett, Dr. Floyd Jones, Dr. Frank Weinholt and Louisiana Hospice for their compassionate care during her illness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 910 Pierremont, Shreveport, LA 71106.
