LURLINE GREGORY WILSON

Funeral services for Lurline Gregory Wilson of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
11:30 AM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with 
Rev. Danny Hawthorne and Toby Frost officiating. Interment will follow at 
Culbertson Cemetery, Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Wilson passed away peacefully on February 20, 2015 in Ruston. She was a 
member of Bethel Baptist of West Monroe and was a loving mother whose 
dedication to serving her family was always her primary concern. Lurline 
Gregory Wilson was born January 20, 1925 in Lincoln Parish, LA. She graduated 
from Choudrant High School and was employed by Bell South Telephone. She 
contributed greatly to the World War II War effort. She met and married the 
love of her life Dyson Wilson of Wyatt, LA in 1946.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband Dyson Wilson; parents, James 
Ralph Gregory and Mollie E. Frazier.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by one daughter, Jeannie Wilson Alsup and husband 
Larry Clark Alsup and numerous nieces and nephews.

I remember my mother as one who helped me grow with truth, love and honesty. 
She gave me dreams with hope and confidence.

Thank you greatly to North LA Medical Center of Ruston, LA for their excellent 
care which included Doc Gregory Tubre and staff at the hospital.

In the heart of my mother, there was a quiet place where dreams were nutured 
and hope and faith burned softly like a light she had left on for you in the 
nite.

Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.
