Interment will follow at Westbrooks-Swilley Cemetery, Aimwell. Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2016 at Riser funeral Home, Columbia from 5 PM to 8:30 PM. Mr. Wilson was born on September 13, 1949 in Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, James Huey Wilson and Mary Cathlene Boyette Wilson and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Grace Home in Alexandria. Rickie worked in the telecommunications industry. He served proudly with the US Army. Music was a huge influence and love in his life and he played several instruments, especially the guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Patrick Monet Wilson. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Patricia Louise Wilson; two sons: Richard Allen Wilson, and wife, Amanda and Rickie Donald Wilson, Jr, both of Beaver Dam, KY; five daughters: Lilly Wilson of Columbia, Brandi Jones and husband, Brantley Hayes of Bremerton, WA, Kim Rivera and husband, LeeRoy of Odessa, TX, Edrinn Smith of Bowling Green, KY and Stacy Alley and husband, Josh of Bowling Green, KY; three brothers: Garry Wilson and wife, Barbara of Columbia, Killis Ray Nappier of Grayson and David Bruce Nappier and wife, Debra of Haile; sister, Cynthia Doan of West Monroe; twenty- two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one expected February 2017; his best friends: Joe Burroughs, Gary Blackwell and Trippy Nix along with his many music friends which became his extended music family and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Richard Wilson, Rickie Wilson, Jr., William N. Jones, Lucas Nappier, Mike Boyette and Duke Medaries.
