Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Wilson was born August 24, 1953 in Bastrop, LA and passed from this life on April 1, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 63. Donna grew up in Bastrop, LA and was a cheerleader in junior high school. After high school, she attended Mathis-Bish Business College in Monroe. Her first job was as a legal secretary for Bob Kostelka in Monroe. After working for various attorneys and judges, she decided to continue her education. She attended Loyola University in New Orleans, Houston Community College in Houston, TX, Louisiana Tech in Ruston, ULM in Monroe and Evangel Christian University in Monroe. While attending ULM, she was chosen to be a member of the Mortor Board, a national college senior honor society. She finished school with three degrees, a Bachelor's, a Master's and a Doctor of Divinity Degree. She maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout her college career. Also while at ULM, she was in the choir and sang at various churches and venues across the Monroe/West Monroe area. She was a classically trained pianist who also played the organ and guitar. She enjoyed spending time in her music studio. She had a a loving heart for cats and enjoyed raising and caring for her little friends. Her house cats were named "Hope", "Faith" and "Joy". She was very fond of fine antiques and people have commented, "You're house looks like a museum." She was also proficient in needlepoint and her home was full of her work, including a 3X5 ft. portrait of King David that took over two years for her to complete.
