Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery West Monroe, LA. Rev. Waymond Warren will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Wink was born October 18, 1913 in Brookhaven, Mississippi and went to be with her beloved Lord on His day, Sunday, March 29, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Webb Austin Wink; parents, John and Maude Douglas; and sons, Albert, West Monroe, Austin of Mobile, Alabama, and Douglas of Baton Rouge. She is survived by three daughters, Joanne Wink Whitlock and husband Royce, Rita Mann and husband Donnie of West Monroe and Kaye Wink and husband Russell of Jonesboro, LA; two daughters-in-law, Ollivee Wink of Mobile, Alabama, and Kathy Wink of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren, Jimmy Whitlock and wife Tammy, Chris Hodnett and wife Sheryn, and Bryan Hodnett all of West Monroe, Donna Mann of Shreveport, Roycelyn Bowman and husband Mike of Galesville, MD., John Wink and wife Patty, Judy Walters and husband Derek, Lisa Fountain, Allyson McNeil and husband Kenny all of Mobile, Ala; 22 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great- grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class. Mrs. Wink was a devout Christian Lady, a faithful prayer warrior and served our Lord in many ways. Topping her list was preserving God's nature by always having beautiful and unique flower gardens incorporating as much of God's creations as possible. She always cared for her family and friends with equal love and fervor as she did her gardens. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Case, Steve Vallery, Steve Walker, Steve Teel, Ron Nix and George Abbott. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA and Wednesday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.
