GERALD WITHERS

Funeral service for Mr. Gerald "Bruce" Withers, SR, 78, of Fort Necessity, will 
take place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016, in the chapel of Young's 
Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA, with Bro. Witt Bass officiating 
and internment to be held at Fort Necessity Baptist Church Cemetery, all under 
the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home - Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. Withers, a retired Wood Yard Superintendent for International Paper, was 
born on December 3, 1937, in Hamburg, AR and passed away on May 29, 2016, in 
Fort Necessity, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Withers; 
mother, Reatha Withers Patrick; sisters, Sherry Withers Crow and Bobbie Jean 
Lewis; and granddaughter, Alexandria Trost.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Lisa Withers Trost, 
husband Eric Duecker, and Robin Withers Rensing; son, Gerald Bruce Withers, II, 
wife Lori; brother, Robert Withers; and dear companion, Sarah Lanette Reeves. 
He is also survived by a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 
12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
