ANITA VIRGINIA LAURENT WOOLSEY


Anita Virginia Laurent Woolsey was born January 19, 1939 and left for her 
heavenly home on June 2, 2013. She was 74. Memorial Service will be Friday, 
June 7, 2013 at West Monroe Church of God at 6:30 PM, Rev. Matthew Cunningham 
officiating. 

"Virginia" as she was known for most of her life graduated from Neville and 
continued on to complete Radiologic Technology School at E. A. Conway Hospital. 
She served the community for over 35 years in this occupation. God blessed her 
with a gift for caring for the sick. Although she worked very hard, she found 
the time to have fun and help others to smile. However, she is most known for 
her loving and giving nature. This nature prompted her to donate her earthly 
remains to LSU Medical School in Shreveport, LA, that even in death she might 
help someone. There will truly never be another wife, momma, friend such as 
she. She will always be remembered.

Preceding her in death: her father Louis Laurent, mother Alma Laurent, 
two "big" brothers William and Walter Laurent, and son in law William Todd 
Haywood.

Left Behind to miss her always: Her husband of 49 years Frank F. Woolsey, 
daughter April Vivas, son Frank L. Woolsey and wife Shanna, daughter Dr. 
Katrina Jordan and husband Bob, Grandchildren, Allen Woolsey, Meagan Gasga and 
husband Chris, Johnathon Woolsey, Devyn Woolsey, Kelsey Jordan, Luke Jordan, 
Great grandchildren Khloe, Nick, Keegan, Lee, and soon new addition, one and 
only niece Stacy Lynell Rodgers and husband Alan, numerous other family, 
friends, and adopted grandchildren.
