THOMAS "FREDDIE" JR. YATES

Funeral services for Thomas "Freddie" Yates, Jr., 54, will be held at 2:00 PM, 
Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rayville with Rev. Tommy 
Simpkins and Rev. Shane Lester officiating. Burial will be in the Stevenson 
Cemetery, Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Freddie was born May 8, 1959 in Delhi, LA and passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 
in Rayville, LA.

Freddie is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Stella Mae 
Patrick; and paternal grandparents, Cleto and Sarah Yates.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Yates of Rayville; daughters, Summer Yates, 
Dawn Whitstine and husband, Joshua, and Erin Dove and husband, Brandon all of 
Rayville; father, Thomas F. "Tom" Yates and wife, Phyllis of West Monroe; 
mother, Earline Medlin of Jonesboro; sister, Kayla Yates of West Monroe; 
grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Gage Yates, Peyton Thompson, Logan Whitstine, and 
Ava Grace Dove; mother-in-law, Lucille Winstead of Rayville; brothers-in-law, 
Tommy Winstead and wife, Laverne, Dee Winstead, James Winstead, and Wayne 
Winstead all of Rayville; host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Mike Thompson, Glen Stanley, Kenny Darnell, Edwin Craft, Sr., 
Bryan Tyree, and James Hough.

Visitation is 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 
Rayville.
