JERRY STEVEN YORK

Memorial Services celebrating the life of Mr. Jerry Steven "Steve" York, 68, 
of Collinston, LA, will be 6:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at St. Andrews United 
Methodist Church in Sterlington with Mr. Noah Hutson officiating.

Steve was born July 26, 1947 and passed away on May 24, 2016. He was a member 
of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Sterlington. Steve was a retired 
drilling engineer in the oil and gas industry. He is preceded in death by his 
wife, Linda Doris York; son, Ethan York; and father, Gerald R. York.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Boyd York of Fairbanks, LA; four 
children, Laura York Long and husband Douglas, Betsy York Hutson and husband 
Clint, Seth York and fiancée Amanda West, Micah York and wife Kathy; seven 
grandchildren, Samuel Long and wife Dori, Stephen Long and wife Maeghan, 
JonLuke Long, Noah Hutson and wife Krystian, Hope Hutson, Elijah Hutson, and 
Brookelynn York; siblings, Rebecca Connally and husband Jeff of Austin, TX, 
Bill York and wife Sharon of Sterlington, LA, Jim York and wife Dixie of 
Sterlington, Ann Adkinson and husband Vernon of Orange, TX, and Cindy Lofton 
and husband Bill of West Monroe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins 
and many special friends.
