Funeral services for Max Youmans, 84, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM 
Monday, May 18, 2009, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1901 Milton St., Monroe, 
LA, with Rev. Morris Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial 
Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, May 21, 2009.

Mr. Youmans died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, of complications from pneumonia. He 
retired from IMC as a Chemical Engineer. He was an active member of Covenant 
Presbyterian Church. Other memberships include the Masons, Barak Shrine Temple, 
Royal Order of Jesters, and the Lions Club. He was a charter member of 
Northeast Dance Club and Pine Hills Country Club. He volunteered at St. Vincent 
de Paul Community Pharmacy and the Senior Citizen Tax filing program.

Survivors include: son, Steve and Cathy Youmans, their daughter, Megan Rose of 
New York; daughter, Karen Youmans of Illinois; a step daughter, Susan and Ed 
Everett of Monroe, LA; and two nephews, Donald and Robert Youmans.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
