Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Frances Young, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 PM Thursday November 13, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA. Rev. Rick Crandall will officiate. Interment to follow at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Young was born July 29, 1922 in Drew Community, LA and passed away 
November 10, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of McClendon Baptist 
Church West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband Henry Hiram Young; parents 
Victor Spillers and Ada Aulds Spillers; son Mark Young; granddaughters Dyanna 
Ankeny and Heather Nicole Young.

Mrs. Young is survived by her daughter Dorothy Yvonne Hires; sons Roy Neil 
Young and wife Melanie, Curtis Wayne Young and wife Kathy; daughter-in-law 
Rita Young; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
