AMBER NICOLE YOUNG

Services for Amber Nicole Young, age 32 will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 
2017 at Owens Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at the Arlington 
Cemetery in Homer, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 
of Ruston.

Amber Nicole was born to Liz Dettenheim of Homer, LA on Sept 25, 1984. On 
January 6, 2017, this magnificent woman joined her father: Mike Berry, and 
grandfather: Ed Dettenheim in Heaven. She had an infectious laugh and a radiant 
smile. Goal driven, she graduated from Choudrant High School in 2003 and 
Unitech in 2007 as a pharmacy tech. November 7, 2015 Amber married the love of 
her life David Young of Choudrant, LA. The two have spent half their lives 
building a family and happy home. Amber was an adventurous and loving mother to 
Braden and Kami. Amber dedicated her life to her family and close friends.

When she wasn't at the Prescription Shoppe working, you could find her on the 
water with David, doing something extravagant with the kids, or being a 
listening ear and wonderful friend. She always made life fun for those around 
her.

Left to mourn this tragic loss; husband, David Young; Son, Braden Young; 
Daughter, Kamryn Young; Mother, Liz Dettenheim; Grandmother, Mary Dettenheim; 
and a lifetime of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM service time, January 17, 2017 at Owens
