BETTY ANN YOUNG

Funeral services for Betty Ann Young, 78, of DeRidder, Louisiana, will be held 
at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2010, in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in 
DeRidder with Rev. Alan Knuckles officiating. Burial will follow in Beauregard 
Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in 
DeRidder.
Mrs. Young passed away Monday, August 9, 2010, in Beauregard Memorial Hospital 
in DeRidder.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 
PM, and Thursday, August 12, 2010, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service 
at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Young was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, and had lived in DeRidder for the 
past 35 years. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and the former 
owner/operator of The Needle Works in DeRidder. She was a member of the 
Custard Glass Collectors Society of America.
Betty is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard A. Young of DeRidder; 
two sons, Richard A. Young, Jr. and wife Karen of Elizabethtown, KY, and John 
S. Young of Cabot, AR; daughter, Lauri Young Mondschein of Hammond, LA; two 
grandchildren, Ashley and Paige. Words of comfort may be left to Betty's
