MARGUERITE JACKSON ZIMMERMAN 

Socorro, New Mexico 

Ms. Marguerite Jackson Zimmerman, a resident of Socorro, New Mexico since 
1956, passed away on June 14, 2009. Margie was born on April 5, 1936 in West 
Monroe, LA. She is survived by her son Ray Zimmerman and wife Cathy, grandson 
David Zimmerman and wife Melissa and great-grandson Joel, sister Mary J. Wood 
and husband Bobby, nieces Rita Savanna and Sherri Bullard, nephews Mike Wood 
and wife Terri, Gary Wood, Eddie Murphy and wife Diane, cousins Jeanette Cook, 
Carolyn Gaumnitz and families. Margie was preceded in death by her daughter 
Connie Zimmerman, parents Irbey and Ruby Jackson and sister Evelyn Murphy. The 
memorial service was at the Presbyterian Church in Socorro on Friday, June 19, 
2009 at 10:00 AM. Margie was a loving mother and friend and was very kind and 
helpful to many people. She will be dearly missed, may God bless her.
