Postcard sent from Elizabeth ? in Monroe, Louisiana to her mother, Mrs. E. S. 
Sheffield, Hotel Harper Crest, 54th and Harper Ave, Chicago, IL.  Postmarked 
August 24, 1937 Monroe, LA. Postcard is a picture of buildings at the 
Louisiana Training Institute (L.T.I.) at 4701 South Grand in Monroe.  Building 
on the left is known as Magnolia Hall (Old Cottage E) and is still (2007) 
standing.  The middle building was the Dining Hall and to the left is Cottage 
D.  These two builings were torn down in 1981.
