The cast and crew of an unknown play performed at Paramount Theatre in 
downtown Monroe.  The man on the far left is Johnnie E. Holmes of Monroe, 
formerly of Tennessee. Johnnie worked as a cook for L.W. Pailett.  The others 
play participants are unknown.  When he passed away in 1943, Johnnie left 
behind lots of theatre memoriabilia to Hardy Blackstock, his best friend. He 
is buried in the Blackstock family plot (with Hardy, his wife Mattie, son 
Howard and his wife Florene)at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, Louisiana.
