B. Surguine, a young businessman of Cleveland, Tenn, the seat of Centenery Female College, at which Miss Renwick was a scholar. The faculty became aware that the young couple comtemplated an elopement and to prevent it a professor started in charge of the young lady, who managed to pass a few words at the depot to a friend of her lover. She came here in charge of a professor and Mr. Surguine came on the first train this morning. As the professor could not retain her by force a wedding was arranged speedily and the two were made one. They left fo Cleveland, first sending a telegram to the bride's parents. The mutual friend was a brother of U.S. Marshall Tipton, and this is the fourth affair of this sort he has chaperoned successfully.
