Greeting, you are hereby authorizes and emprowed to unite in the bond, Mips. Melissa Hughes, and Mr. Jesse Frisby, both residents of said parish and State and to Solemnize and to Celebrate the said marriage between the parties as above named according to the law, and customs of the State of Lousiana, and make your return hereof, as the law directs: and this your authority forso, given under my hand and seal of office on this 6th day July A. According to family history, this family was in a wagon train, coming from Ala. to Union Co, Ark. Jesse Frisby wife died, and lefted him, with several small children, He and Melissa just stopped the Wagon train, long enough in Ouachita Parish, to get married before going on to Union Co. Ark. They spent their entire life in Union Co. and both are buried in Green Grove cemt. in Union Co. Arkansas. Dorothy Hargett Norris. Please use as you wish.
