Due to the illness of the bride's mother the idea of a home wedding was given up. Judge and Mrs. W.N. Potts and Mr. Percy Sandel and Miss Elvie Potts went over to Vicksburg with the groom. The couple left by the 9:40 Valley train for New Orleans, where they will remain a few days before returning to Monroe. Later in the season Mr. and Mrs. Potts will leave for a trip to Mexico and Central America and will visit relatives of the groom in the latter country.
