SCHAYOT Borned in Pointe-ala-Hache in 1867 of French Parentage, is a typical Creole, hence his favoritisms and extreme popularity among his people. He lives in the 3rd Ward, attended the public schools preparatory upon entering Louisiana State University of Baton Rouge in 1882 where he distinguished himself in his studies and military training. Upon leaving there in 1885, he tried pedagogism with much success for two years, but on account of his health was compelled to abandon his chosen profession. He then went into Mercantile business and now has one of the most progressive business in the parish. Mr. Schyot has already served as Police Juror for this ward for four years.
