It lists all of us living who descend from the original families. As there is still a bit of generation lagging, there are quite a few generations included in a couple families. This chapter begins with the individuals of the seventh generation, and follows with all know descendants at the time of publication. Again, if the subject was living distant from southeast Louisiana, i try to mention. Particular towns with which an individual are best remembered will be included if it was brought out to me during my research. My title for this chapter "Mostly the Living", is meant to reflect the many living persons who are included, as only a handful are extinct lines or lost otherwise, from those listed here. They are the present community of plaquemines Parish Louisiana, and also a minor influence in the New Orleans community in a variety of trades and capacities. We have to keep the better traditions of the people before us, and try to create a better and viable life based on their triumphs and mistakes, some of which we currently make, even seeing the previous poor direction which could prevent it. These families are more than a "nucleus" that I exhibited in earlier chapters. Some of the families covered in this chapter span four generations maybe five, as the families are closed out to the younger ones are from their parent, grandparent, or more distant ancestor. As in previous chapters, an increasingly long outline and number will help to determine our route to the earliest listed ancestor.
