Mrs. Louis Hebert was laid to rest in Roselawn cemetery Thursday afternoon with funeral services at the St. Joseph Catholic church. Mrs. Hebert had only been ill for a short time, having taken sick last Saturday with pneumonia at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. C. McLaughlin of Edgewood Lawn. She had made her home here for some time with her daughter, Mrs. Percy A. Dupuy, on West street, but up until that time she had been a resident of Plaquemine. She was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Patureau of Beaudreaux, France, and Emma Landry of Brusly, La.. Mrs. Hebert was a devout member of the Catholic church, and she was quite active in church affairs and was well known for many charitable deeds. Mrs. Hebert is survived by her husband. Louis Hebert, five daughters and two sons, Mmes. Percy A. Dupuy, J. B. Villerett, D. C. McLaughlin of Baton Rouge, Mrs. L. B. Bernard, Mrs. Eugene Bourgoyne and J. A. Hebert of Opelousas and Paul Hebert of Columbia, S. C.; three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Omer Hebert, Jr., of Plaquemine, Mrs. V. Dupuy, Mrs. W. Cropper, and O. Patureau of Beaumont, Tex., L. Patureau of New Orleans and V. M.
