Hingle of Port Sulpher, La. on tuesday, June 30, 1970 at 9:45 o'clock a.m., beloved husband of the late Regina Burney; father of Mrs. Annie Hingle, and Mrs Vivian Wheeler; son of the late Rosalie Hingle and Rosemond Hingle; brother of Mrs. Louise Lala, Mrs. Rese Buras and the late Mrs. Marie McNeb, Mrs. George Treadaway, Joseph, Marcel and Gibson Hingle; also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; age 83 years; a native of Plaquemines Parish, La. St. Paterick Cemetery ***** Died- at Pointe a la Hache, La. on Sunday April 4, 1915 at 5:10 a.m., JOSHUA HINGLE. Joshua was a native of this place and the son of the late Salvador Hindle. He was greatly esteemed and had many friends. He had been ill for several months and though his death was not unexpected it was a shock to the community and is greatly deplored. Joshua was unmarried and died at the home of his brother John B. Hingle, who survives him with three other brothers and two sisters. The funeral took place at the St. Thomas Catholic Church Monday evening at 3 o'clock and was attended by a large concours of sorrowing relatives and friends. The remains were laid to rest in the St. Thomas Cemetery. ***** Died- in New Orleans La on Sunday January 16, 1916 at 8 o'clock p.m., MRS. {WIDOW} THOMAS DOBSON. nee AGLIE HINGLE aged 90 years and 1 month. Mrs. Dobson was born and raised here and lived all her life in this parish. She raised a large family and leaes three sons and two daughters to mourn her loss. The remains were brought down the Tuesday morning train and the funerral took place from St. Thomas Catholic Church. ***** Richard L. St. Paterick Cemetery ***** Jules L. Hingle, a retired senior personnel manager for Freeport Sulphur Co. died Saturday of cancer at a sons home in Slidell. He was 87. Mr. Hingle was born in Port Sulphur and lived there for many years, in Gretna for four years and in Slidell for the past nine months. He was a former second lieutenant in the Army. Survivors include two sons, Robert M. and Lance L. Hingle; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Mausoleum in Baton Rouge. Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Janice Hingle Arnold, a homemaker, died Sunday of an aortic aneurysm at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was 51. Mrs. Arnold was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Survivors include her husband, Hardy Arnold Sr.; three sons, Michael Joseph, Dwayne Thomas and Hardy ``Albie'' Arnold Jr.; her mother, Rita Dalgo Hingle Bruce; her stepfather, H.J. Bruce; a brother, Simon D. Hingle; and a sister, Lynette Perlander. Visitation will be today beginning at 6 p.m. at Mothe Funeral Home on East Gulf Drive in Triumph. A Mass will be said Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Church in Buras. Burial will be in the church cemetery. ***** Hingle- on friday May 11, 1945 at 12:10 a.m. Marcella Dugas wife of Henry Alexander Hingle mother of Mrs R Morales, Mrs B Gonzales and Mrs R Part and the late Mrs R Alphonso; sister of Mrs. A Kelly, Mrs P Goodman, Mrs W Hingle and J and G Dugas; aged 68 years a native of Plaquemines Parish and a resident of New Orleans fo rthe past 27 years.
