"That Casket, Oh I see it
	Still 'tis ever on my mine eyes
I feel the shock those hear strings
	Thrill as there my Angel lies
    
"I raise the lid that hide from view
	My life, my soul, my all
and there I see my love one true
	And by his side I fall
    
"And memory weeps beside me there
	And tears mine eyes do fall
And in my grief and wild despair
	I cry and love thee still
    
"How can I part with thee bright gem
	To see thy face no more
Oh! The world may all tears undo
	And say 'tis grief son o'er
    
"No, No, the world knows not the deep
	From whence the fountain flows
While life shall last they'll never
	Sleep while hearts throb to and fro
    
"For memory streaks their tender chord
	and quite the answering tear
We hear his last expiring words
	From out the tomb, the bier

I see thee still by day and night
	Forever bright and fair
