Since I am researching the LeBlanc line, it caught my attention and I thought it might interest someone in Plaquemines Parish as well. It reads: Helen LeBlanc, 72, of Lake City, died Saturday in Tallahassee. A memorial mass will be said at Epiphany Catholic Church in Lake City, at a later date, with burial in St. John's Cenetery in Plaquemine, LA. A native of Baton Rouge, LA, she had lived in Lake City from 1960 until moving to Tallahassee in 1998. She was employed as a medical assistant to Dr. Louis G. Landrum until her retirement. She is survived by one brother, Charles LeBlanc of New Orleans, LA, one sister, Sylvia Landrum of Tallahassee; three nieces, Deborah Hook, Prissy Kuersteiner and Gina Campbell all of Tallahassee; and six great-grandnieces and nephews. (Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel in Tallahassee, (850)877-8191.)
