Mr Caz was a resident of this Parish for the past 48 years. In 1877 he married Mary Egan who died 13 years ago and their marriage was blessed with 4 children; John M., Bernard, Frank, and 1 daughter Laura; who were left to mourn his lass. The funeral took place Saturday November 13, 1915 from St. Thomas Catholic Church and was very largely attended by his many friends. ***** Ban-at Buras La. on Saturday August 28, 1915 at 8:40 a.m. Mrs. wid. Anthony Ban aged 81 years and 3 months. The deceased leaves one son, two daughters and a number of relatives to mourn her death. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Good Harbor Church on Sunday August 29, 1915 at 4:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Father Fortier. ***** Wiese-on Monday September 20, 1915 at 7:00 a.m. at Dymond Post Office, La Mrs M A Wiese beloved mother of J A Wiese of New Orleans aged 76 years and 9 months. Funeral took place at Dymond La Tuesday September 21, 1915 at 1:00 p.m. ***** Barrios-at Jesuit Bend La JOHN E BARRIOS aged 62 years and 10 months. Funeral will be held today Saturday at Jesuit Bend at 3:00p.m. Futher commment in our next issue. {published July 31, 1915} ***** Barrios-at Convington La Monday July 19, 1915 at 3:20 a.m. FILLMORE L BARRIOS beloved husband of Clementine Cornel aged 60 years 3 months a native of New orleans. Mrs Barrios was born in Jesuit Bend in the parish and before moving to New Orleans he occupied several positions of Honor. He leaves a large family to whom we extend our incere condolence. ***** Died in St Bernard Parish on Friday January 23, 1915 C DUDLEY ANDRY. Mr Andry was a highly esteemed gentleman and at the time of his death he was president of the Lake Borgue Levee Board. The funeral took place Saturday and was largely attended and Interment made in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans. ***** Died in New Orleans La on Thursday February 4, 1915 ALPHONSE PACHE aged 77 years Mr Peche was born and reared in Pointe a la Hache and has many relatives in the parish who will be pained to learn of his death. He was highley esteemed and respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and a daughter. ***** Died in Pointe a la Hache on friday January 21, 1916 at 10:00 a.m. FREDERICK GRAVOLET age 66 years 9 months and 3 days. Mr Gravolet was one of the most prominent gentleman in upper Pointe a la Hache. He held many positions of honor. He leaves 3 sons, 5 daughters and a large number of relatives to mourn his loss. The funeral took place from St. Thomas Church on January 22, 1916 and was largely attended. ***** Died at Pointe a la Hache, La. on Sunday April 4, 1915 at 5:10 a.m. Joshua Hingle aged 40 years. Joshua Hingle was a native of this place and son of the late Salvador Hingle. He was greatly esteemed and had many friends. He had been ill for several months and though his death was not unexpected it was a shock to the community and it is greatly deplored. Joshua Hingle was unmarried and died at the ome of his brother, Mr John B Hingle, who survives him with three other brothers and two sisters. The funeral of the deceased took place at the St. Thomas Catholic Church Monday Evening at 3:00 p.m. and was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends and the remains were laid to rest in the St. Thomas Cemetery. ***** Died in New Orleans La. on Sunday January 16, 1916 at 8:00 p.m. Mrs. wid. Thomas Dobson nee Aglia Hingle age 90 years and 1 month. Mrs Dobson was born and raised here and lived all her life in this parish. She raised a large family and leaves three sons and two daughters to mourn her loss. The remains were brought down on the Tuesday morning train and the funeral took place from St. Thomas Church. ***** Died in New Orleans La on Monday February 1, 1915 at 9:45 p.m. Herbert Roper only son of henry Roper and Emily vinet aged 21 years 5 months and 8 days a native of New Orleans. ***** Died in New Orleans La on Wednesday Febrary 3, 1915 T Messengale aged 27 years. Mr Messengale was a conduct on the La Southern R. R. and was well known here. He is survived by his wife and child. ***** Died in New orleans La on Saturday January 30, 1915 Miss Dabora Wright aged 23 years a native of the Parish of Plaquemines. ***** Fried-on Tuesday December 28, 1915 at 8:00 a.m. George Fried age 63 years and 8 months of New Orleans and resident of Plaquemines Parish for the past 41 years. The funeral was held Wednesday after 3:00. Mr Fried was connected with the M G Company at the time of his death, he also held many postions of honor in our Parish. ***** Died in New Orleans La on Wednesday April 28, 1915 at 9:20 a.m. THEOPHANE RAGAS, beloved husband of Alice Cosse; aged 47 years native of Pointe a la Hache. The unexpected death of Mr Ragas will be learned with great regret by his many friends in this parish. He leaves his wife several children sisters and brothers. ***** Died in New orleans La on Wednesday January 13, 1915 at 11:45 a.m. Miss Pearl Ragas beloved daughter of Mr and Mrs Davis Ragas, aged 21 years. The news of the untimely daeth of Miss Pearl Ragas was learned with great pain and sorrow by the many friends of her family. Miss Ragas was a young girl who was endowed with lovable dispostions and all who knew her loved her. Sad indeed it is to see such a sweet flower mowed down so young but it was God's will and we have the consolation that she has been transplated in the garden of the Heavenly Father where she will bloom forever. The funeral which was very largely attended took place Thursday evening at 4:00 and interment made in St. Roch Cemetery. To the heart broken father and mother we prefer our heart felt sympathey in this their hour of great afficition. ***** Mr Leonce Bougon died July 1, 1916 a native of Happy Jack, He was 69 years old. beloved husband of Lorenza Darocca by first marriage and Clemence Fontenelle by second; father of Mrs George Kaupp, Mrs Harris Fontenelle, Mrs albert Toepfer, Mrs Wade LaBlanc, Mrs Clay Ledet, Clement Bougon, Mrs Fred Anderson, Joseph Bougon, Van Bougon, Mabel Bougon, Mrs J Slaughter and James Bougon; brother of Emile Bougon and Marie Bougon; also survived by 28 grandchildren. ***** Died at his home in Promis Land Dalcour la on Monday April 3, 1916 at 8:00 p.m., JOHN MEYER aged 69 years; a native of Stemmon Hanover Germany. The body was taken to New Orleans for burial. Services were held at the Second German Evangelical Luthern Church, Burgundy and port Street, Wednesday April 5, 1916. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Deceased leaves a devoted wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of friends and acquaintances to mourn his passing away. Mr Meyer was one of Plaquemines Parish Agriculturists. Coming to this country at the age of twenty and settled here where he made his home, reared a family and prosper. He was possed of many manley traits which won for him the esteem of those who knew him. The death of Mr Meyer has removed from the activities of life a man who was always dutiful in the performance of his obligations and his responsabilies. One of God's nobleman, whose death was an irreparable lost to our state and parish. ***** Died at New Orleans n Wednesday November 24, 1915 at 10:00 p.m. C Phillip Marin beloved husband of Julia Reaud age 55 years a native of New Orleans. Mr Marin at the time of his death was president of the Lake Borgne Levve Board. He had many friends in this Parish who will sincerely regret his death. *****
