St. Bartholomew Cemetery. ***** {published July 28, 1934} The death of Mrs Margaret Meyer mother of J Ben Meyer, Parish Assessor, came as a shcok to her many friends in Plaquemines Parish and New Orleans, although her death followed a protracted serious illness. She was a native and life lng resident of Plaquemines Parish in the dalcour section Mrs Meyer was always kind and genorous with her neighbors and was particularly loved and highly thought of by all of the residents of the Dalcour section. She is survived by her son J Ben Meyer, and his family Mrs J Ben Meyer and their four children Margaret, J Ben Jr., Richard and Mary Lou. ***** Cecile Lafrance of Truimph La friday August 24, 1934 at 7:15 p.m. wife of the late Sebastain Buras mother of mrs E M Buras, Mrs Eva Marsh, Mrs Josephine Robicheaux, Mrs laura Mermord, Adam., Charles, and Lawerence Buras and the late Lucien Buras, 85 years a native of Buras. Buras Cemetery. ***** Mrs. Angelique Groleau, widow of the late Dr. T. H. Ballowe, died on Friday, October 19, 1934. Mrs. Ballowe was the mother of Miss Alice V. Ballowe and Dr. H. L. Ballowe of Buras, and a native of Plaquemines Parish. Her funeral was largely attended by friends of the family and admirers of Mrs. Ballowe from all over the parish and New Orleans. She was buried at the family cemetery at Diamond, West Pointe-a-la-Hache, on Saturday afternoon, Octoher 20, from the Mothe funeral home at Gretna. Mrs. Ballowe's health had beer failing for a considerable time and she had been mostly confined to her home for the last couple of years. In spite of her increasing age and illness, however, she was always a devoted mother and her kindly disposition endeared her to everyone who came in contact with her. The GAZETTE extends its sincerest sympathies to Dr. Ballowe and Miss Ballowe who suffered such great loss in the death of their wonderful mother. ***** Mrs. Julia Loga Delesdernier of pilottown wife of Representative Judge George W Delesdernier died suddenly at the age of 60 at her home Monday evening May 14, 1934 at 6:30. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon from the Leitz-Egan Funeral Home, 2512 Magazine St. New Orleans. *****
