On Monday January 12, 1942 Paul J. Sendker, husband of Mary 
Anna Sissung and the late Annie Sehaumburg; father of Joseph 
P. Sendker, Mrs. Leon M. Smith, Mrs.Georqe Huber, Mrs.Harolb 
Albeanise, Mrs. Elmore P. Beeker, Mrs. Hugo C.C. Loga, Mrs. 
Vincent C. Basile, Siter Mary Helen of Immacalute Conception, 
Mrs. Emile A Talianich; son of Paul J. Sendker; also survived 
by 16 grandchildren;

On January 2, 1942 HORACE WILKINSON SR father of husband of Julia 
Merwin; Mrs J A Tucker and Mrs W L Stevens; one of seven brothers 
James Wilkinson is the last survivor; also survived by 4 grand
children; age 87 years; a native of Plquemines and a resident of 
Port Allen. Interment in Baton Rouge Cemetery.

On Wednesday May 27, 1942 PAUL JOURDAN nee Elizabeth Salzenski, 
wife of the late Frederick Schultz by 1st marriage and Paul 
Jourdan by 2nd marriage; mother of Mrs Dennis Pienne and Frederick 
Schultz; also survived by 2 grandchildren; age 48 years; a native 
of Brenham Texas and a resident of Belle Chasse for the past 17 
years. Interment in McDonough Cemetery.

MICHAEL SCHOENBERGER born in New Orleans aged 52 years, beloved 
son of the late Sigmund Schoenberger and Sophie Hempel died at 
Buras hospital on Sunday January 11, 1942 at 11:15 a.m. He is 
survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Sigmund F, and Ivan 
Schoenberger, Mrs Lynn Tomkins, Mrs Ester Smith and Catherine 
Schoenberger.

Rosella Jeanfreau Dauterive on January 22, 1942 at 12:15 a.m. 
wife of the late Marigny Dauterive; mother of Mrs P Berges, 
Mrs William Plemer, Mrs H P Boudet and Marigny, Oswold and 
Robert Dauterive; sister of Octave and Louis Jeanfreau and the 
late Mrs A Treadaway, Mrs C Marrero and Harris Jeanfreau; also 
survived by 12 grandchildren a native of Plaquemines Parish and 
a resident of New Orleans for the past 52 years. St. Vincent de 
Paul Cemetery.

John B Lavigne III oldest son of Birdie Giordano and the late 
John B Lavigne Jr died Wednesday January 28, 1942 at 1:00 a.m. 
brother of edwin W G Arthur and Julie E Lavigne aged 26 a native 
of New Orleans and a resident of home Place for the past 24 years.

mother of Mrs W H Chauvin, Mrs George Lincoln,  Mrs Maurice O'Brien, 
Mrs Dewey Norton, Joseph, Dr. Marc O.,  Dr. Louis M.,  Dewey and the 
late Gussie Cognevich; Sister of Louis Gauffroy; also survived by 20 
grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. 
age 83 years; a native and resident of Nairn La. 
Interment in Nairn Cemetery.

On Monday January 5, 1942 at 3:10 a.m. CELESTIN 'BEBEEN' BURAS husband 
of Camille Baril;  father of Mrs L Goodman, Mrs J W Chisholm and Frank 
P. and Joseph A Buras; brother of Mrs William H Clements, Mrs Walter 
Colombel and Leo C Buras; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great 
grandchildren; age 81 years; a native of Port Eads and a resident of 
algiers for the past 3 years.

Charles Ballay by 1st marriage and T E Collette by 2nd marriage; mother 
of Mrs P H Lyons, Mrs J C Ballay Sr. and Mrs A Parkin; age 85 years; a 
native of Flushing Long Island and a resident of Louisiana for the past 
80 years. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.

Bulot and Mary Buras; father of Mrs A E Larson and Rudolph J Gasquet; 
step father of Mrs Felix Hingle Jr amd Peter B Algero; brother of 
Matteu Bara and Numa Gasquet; also survived by 2 grandchildren; age 70 
years; a native of Triumph and a resident of Boothville for the past 40 
years. interment in Buras Cemetery.
