On September 21, 1943 LENA VULLO mother of Leonard and Lena Vullo; 
a resident of Diamond for over 42 years. Interment in Metairie Cemetery.

On September 25, 1943 JOHN PAUL POPICH son of John N Popich and 
Mrs Anna Ragas Popich; brother of Josph, Thomas, anna Belle, Mary 
Mae, and Gloria Popich; age 24 years; a resident of Buras La.

Sheriff L Decomine Dauterive died at the Baptist Hospital in New 
Orleans at 5 a.m. Tuesday June 1st 1943 survived by his widow the 
former Coralie Martin; a daughter Mrs Ruth Dauterive; his mother 
Oralie Dauterive; four sisters Mrs. Henry Gehbauer of Braithwaite, 
Mrs L M Vinsanau of Chalmette, Mrs Clem Vinsanau of Chalmette, 
Mrs Robert Denley of New Orleans; a brother Gaston J Dauterive of 
Braithwaite. native of St. Bernard and resident of Belle Chasse.

James, Herbert and the late Dennis and Curphy Hingle; brother of Mr. 
Theophile Ragas, Isaac and Leon Hingle; a native of plaquemines and 
a resident of Davant. Interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
