"Oliver Louis BOWES "Age 3 years and 5 months, son of Joseph F. BOWES and Marie BIAGGINI. "The golden rays of last Sunday had scarcely dispelled the gloom of dawn when the cruel reaper chose for his victim the light-hearted little Oliver BOWES." "His short span of life had covered but three years and without a warning note, the shrill blast summoned his pure soul to the arms of his creator. Four days of illness foretold the end. His obedient, loving affectionate nature was the greatest cheer of his mother and father's life. His generous, cheerful and kindly disposition was the tie that bound him to the little companions of his youth. "Let the sorrow of his mother, father, and little sisters be soften by the thought that while his mortal lips are silent, his little soul lisp its prayers from its "sheltered rest11 in his heavenly home in the ears of our divine Saviour who will so guide him to his Heavenly home.
