All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ***** A quiet wedding though one of much interest to the Potash community occured Wednesday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church at Home Place at 10 a.m. with Nuptial Mass. when Miss Leantine Treadaway of Potash became the bride of Ernest Hingle of New Orleans. The ceremony was performed by Father Levesque, Mr Hingle is the son of Fred Hingle of that community but has been living in New Orleans where he is employed. His bride, a daughter of Mrs George Treadaway, member of the Police Jury and is a very charming young lady, possed of a sweet and likeable disposition. Following the ceremony the happy couple departed for new Orleans where they will make their home. The Protector joins their many friends in wishing Mr and Mrs hingle all happiness and success through life. {published June 7, 1924} *****
