Nicholas Righter officiating Only immediate relatives attended the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ensamble costume of gray crepe with hat te harmonize, and carried carnations. The bride had as her maid of honor and only attendant was her cousin, Miss Lillian Menge. Mr. Midsel had as his best man, Mr. Arthur Ripp. During the ceremony appropriate music was rendered. The couple will be at home to their friends at No 428 Power St. Algiers. We wish them Heavens best blessings, happiness. contentment, health. ***** Heard Hingle of Scaresdale and Miss Clothilde the accomplished daughter of Mr and Mrs Meaurice St Germain were untied in holy bonds of Matrimony recently. The Protector extends its congratulations and best wishes. {published May 2, 1925} ***** On Wednesday June 10 1925 Miss Geneveive Rita daughter of Mr and Mrs Salvadore Caserta was wedded to Mr Emile DiCarlo son of Mr and Mrs Jos. DiCarlo at the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes at Violet. The following made up the rainbow wedding party. The bestmen were Joe Decarlo, Dominick Bazile, Dominick Mumphry and felix Caserta, bridesmaids R Caserta, R Palmasino, R Caserta and Annie Bolognia. The maid of honor was Mrs Mary DelSalvia. The ushers were V J Champagne, S and D Liocardi and F Caserta. After the ceremony there was a reception at the home of the bride's parents,a spacious platform having been erected on the grounds to take care of the dancers. The newlyweds are prominent members of the upper Plaquemines Parish and the well wishes for prosperity and happiness from their numerous friends. ***** The marriage of Mrs. Saddie L Middleton of New orleans to Luke Evasovich, of Triumph took place Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St Anna Episcopal Church in New Orleans. Mrs Middleton was one of Plaquemines most efficient teachers, having devoted the past six years teaching our girls and boys. Mr. Evansovich is a wealthy orange grower and shipper of the Lower Coast and one of our most progressive citizens. He numbers his friends by his acquaintences. After the ceremony the couple left for an extened honeymoon trip. They will make their home at Triumph on the groom fine orange farm.
