on Wednesday June 29th 1927 at the church of Our Lady of Good Harbor 
Buras la was solemnized the marriage ceremony of Mr Berchman Perez 
son of Mr and Mrs Roselius Perez and Miss Ethel Scobel daughter of 
Mr and Mrs Luke Scobel.

On Tuesday June 28th 1927 Mr Edward Ansardi son of Mr Bernard Ansardi 
and Miss Rhea Cosse daughter of Mr and Mrs Alberti Cosse were quietly 
married in New orleans. The contracting parties are popular young people 
of this Parish.

One of the very pretty weddings of the season was taht of Mr Joseph Capone 
and Miss Ruth Fontenelle, which was solemnized Wednesday evening at 3:30 
at the St, Thomas Catholic Church, in the presence of a large gathering 
of relatives and friends of the families of contracting parties Rev Father 
Girault officiating. The bride is the daughter of our highley esteemed 
citizes Mr and Mrs L T Fontenelle. She had as maid of honor Miss Ruth 
Erickson and a s bridesmaid Miss Sophie Favret. The groom had as best 
man Mr Herman Fontenelle brother of the bride and Mr Anthony Capone 
brother of the groom as groomsman.

a la Hache was solemnized the nuptial ceremony of Mr Marcus J Martin and 
Miss Sarah Ida cross, which was largely attended by relatives and friends 
of the families of the contracting parties. Rev Father Girault Officiating. 
Miss Sarah Cross is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Wm F Cross of Phoenix La. 
Mr Marcus Martin is the son of Mr Aril Martin.

New Orleans la Mr henry C Illenberger and Miss Adele Barrios both of 
this parish were married by Rev Father Girault.

daughter Hallie Ellzey to B B Baker, of Otterville Missouri. The wedding 
will be solemized June 15 1947 at 6:00 p.m. in the venice Baptist Church 
with the Rev Donal Corley officiating. Mrs Curtis Roeder, sister of the 
bride-elect, is to be matron of honor, with Miss Dot Parker of Sumerall, 
Miss., and Miss Ossie Pearl Staggs of New Albany Miss., as bridesmaids. 
Miss Mary Evelyn Metts of Winona Miss will sing with Mrs Escar Davidson 
of Buras la as Pianist. Mr Curtis Roeder, cousin of the groom elect will 
serve as best man with Hugh Baker and Richard Ellzey as Ushers.
