The wedding to take place on Saturday, June 22, 1935, at St. Thomas Church, Point-a-la-Hache, La. at five in the afternoon. The relatives, friends, an acquaintances are cordially invited to attend the wedding, also the reception which wilL take place after the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom at Davant, La. {published June 15, 1935} ***** On Apnl 24th 1935 Theresa Mary Jurleich and Matt John Ficovich of Empire, La., were joined in holy wedlock at a nuptial mass at the Little Church at Empire, Father Martin officiating. The bride was dressed in a lovely sport outfit of all white. She carried a bouquet of white carnations. The maids carried pink carnations. The attendants were Mrs. Louis Battistella, sister of the bride; Miss Mary Crjnak of Empire Miss Vinca Carevich of New Orleans, Mr. Louis Battistella of Empire, Mr. Simon Franciski of Triumph, Mr. Vincent Messina of New Orleans. All those in attendance were lovely dressed in sport clothes, in all colors of the rainbow. The groom and the best men wore tan suits. The guests who attended the wedding had a wonderful time. At this time the bride and Groom are honeymooning in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and will be at home with their friends in a few days. *****
