Maximilien Bizette (Bizet) was the son of Marcelin and Marcilene 
Bergeron Bizette.  On 5 Jun 1848, he married Amelia David the 
daughter of Alexis and Marie Celine Bizette Bergeron.  Maximilien 
Bizette was the great grandson of Pointe Coupee pioneer Francois Bizette 
and Marie Claude Champagne.  His second marriage, on 8 Aug 1860, 
was to Nathalie Saizon the daughter of Pierre Francois Saizon. 
Maximilien paid $500 security for the marriage.

Maximilien Bizette was a laborer and farmer who had four known children
with Nathalie Saizon:

1)    Francois Bizette
      b: 1 Nov 1862
      m: 8 Jan 1884 to Mary Celestine Lavergne

2)    Ellen Bizette
      b: 1866

3)    Joseph Bizette
      b: 1871

4)    Maximilien Bizette Jr.
      b: 1879

Verbal family history tells of Joseph Bizette, while working 
on the levee, being accidentally cut and dying of "blood poisoning".
Maximilien Bizette Jr. was believed to have never married.  
Francois Bizette married and had six children.  Maximilien is buried 
in the Chenal Cemetery in Section II, Row I, Plot 6.
