He married Eleonore DARENSBOURG (1802-1852) circa 1822, and they had five children: * Alfred (1824-?) * Joseph Sidney (1829-?); m. Estelle BEVIN, Pointe Coupee, 18 Oct 1859 * Paulinn (1836-?) * Emma (1837-?) * Nicolas Felix (24 Jan 1840-?); bt. St. Francis Church, Pointe Coupee, 10 Apr 1843; m. Hermantine BEVIN, Pointe Coupee, 1868 BRUNET, Joseph Sidney (1829) Joseph Sidney BRUNET was born to Auguste BRUNET and Eleonore DARENSBOURG circa 1829. He married Estelle BEVIN (15 Jun 1838-2 Feb 1887; interred Chenal Cemetery) on 18 Oct 1859. They lived in Pointe Coupee until the late 1860s, then moved to New Orleans, Orleans Parish. They returned to Pointe Coupee (possibly New Roads) by 1880. They had six children: * Eleonore (1860-?) * Ernestine (1862-?) * Ulysse (1864/65-?) * Gaston (1864/65-?) * Gustave (15 Jan 1870/75-1954); m. Manuella GORGE/GEORGES, Pointe Coupee, 29 Jan 1896 * Louise (1874-?) BRUNET, Gustave (1870/75) Gustave BRUNET was born to Joseph Sidney BRUNET and Estelle BEVIN on 15 Jan 1870/75. He married Manuella GEORGE/GEORGES (1878-1950) on 29 Jan 1896. They lived in Pointe Coupee (New Roads) until at least 1907, and moved to New Orleans by 1920 and then to New York by the early 1930s. They had four children: * Edna (1897-?) * Mary (1901-1975) * Joseph Ulysse (4 Apr 1907-17 Jul 1951); bt. St. Mary's Church, New Roads, 4 May 1907 * Walter (1914-?)
