"CHARLIE" A retired baker and a resident of New Roads, he died at 1:20 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2000, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, New Roads. He was 99 and a native of Jarreau. Visiting at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Maringouin, from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Monday. Religious services at the church at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Shelton Fabre. Burial in church cemetery. Preceded in death by his father, Bienvenu Webre; mother, Rosalie Bizette; wife, Lennie MacMurray; four brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Kerry Bellelo, Paul Poche, Hershel Leonard, John Blair Webre and Gerald Webre. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Webre and Chris David.
