She was 89 and had lived all of her life in Pointe Coupee. She was a homemaker and owner of The Coloring Book Fabric Store in Jarreau. Devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lakeland, a member of the Altar Society and a choir member for more than 75 years. She was an accomplished seamstress, winning top honors in the Home Demonstration Club of Pointe Coupee. She also made wedding dresses and evening gowns for many family and friends and continued sewing until just recently. Visitation will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland on Monday, July 7, from 1 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Chenal Cemetery. Survived by her husband, John B. "J.B." Guillaume; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Carolyn Andre and Stephen and Renee Andre; a daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and Rick Allen; and stepchildren and their spouses, Denis and Judy Guillaume and David and Carleen Guillaume. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jami, Jeffery and wife Allison, Jared, Joshua and Adam Andre; and nine step-grandchildren, Gregory Allen and fiancée Shannon, Demetrius and wife Alicia, Christopher and wife Annie, Benjamin, Jonathan and Dylan Guillaume, Maureen Van Norman and husband Don, April Duplessis and husband Christopher, and Noel Guillaume. She had six great-grandchildren, Jordan and wife Melanie, Chelsea, Sean and Emily Andre, and Mason and Madison Guillaume; and a great-great-grandchild, Taylor Andre. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elenora Amond; her first husband, John M. Andre; brothers, Lawrence, Alexander and Dolzy Amond; and sisters, Bernice and Della Bello and Iva Lee Favaron Blanchard.
